Heading out soon
Well friends this evening I will be heading out on the road with about a dozen Romanians on our way to Oltenia
You can find Timisoara on Western side of Romania and Oltenia in SE area just south of Bucharest. Click on map for larger and clearer viewThis will be a very long drive. We will be doing some children’s outreach as well as hand out hats, clothing and Book of Hope translated in Romanian. Please pray for the following:
1) Safety while we drive. Most of the drive is at night in back country roads with little lighting. We have to be on the look out for many of these on the back roads: (they typically don’t have lights
)
2) Children’s evangelism program – kid’s hearts will be open to hear the message
3) For the parents and adults who usually come to the children’s program so they too will be hearing the message. Pray for their hearts to be open to the message.
4) Pastor in this community. Since our last visit in August for a children’s outreach and school supply distribution, the pastor and his wife have since then begun a children’s weekly Bible Club and the numbers have been continually growing. Praise God!
5) Health for all. I have a head cold so not feeling up to par. Please pray that everyone will be strengthened and kept healthy for this trip.
6) Continued relationships with this community. We are praying about doing a larger outreach next summer. I am asking people from the states to come and help with children’s programs (VBS etc.) as well as other community outreaches to help this area.
