Am Ajuns (I arrived)
Just a quick note to let all my Xanga friends know I made it to my new home this evening safe and sound. I am absolutely exhausted. I was doing so well and making great timing until 175 kilometers outside of Bucharest the snow came and it got worse. It was so slow moving from there but I made it safely. Just a side note – thank you again to STL (speed the light) for providing a safe and sturdy vehicle – while others were slipping and sliding, I coasted right past them
I made the entire trip in 10 hours with just one stop for gasoline My wonderful roommates so graciously helped me unpack my car. This was not easy cause I live on the 4th floor with no lift. Now that I’m home safely I can enjoy the snow!!! I’m spending the next 2 days running a bunch of errands and packing for Christmas in Heidelberg Germany to vist Trisha. Blessings to you all!Tamara
